Getting to know the
Rev. Emma Vickery
Rev. Emma has been married to her husband Donovan since 2006 and they are happily raising energetic twin two year olds. Her
commitment to her family reflects her passion for children and youth ministry. She strives to make the worship a place for people
of all ages. She uses her creative
spirit to try innovative preaching styles, worship styles and her desire is to
incorporate more art into regular worship.
She strives to deepen our ecumenical relationships and to be involved in
the greater community. Rev. Emma has a
bachelor of arts in Christianity and Culture from Trinity Western
University. She has a Master of Divinity
from Wycliffe College in Toronto. She
was ordained as a Priest in 2004 in the Diocese of British Columbia and moved
into the Diocese of Edmonton in 2006. Rev.
Emma joined the Parish of All Saints’ Anglican Church a year and a half ago. She is excited to see what God is doing at the
Parish of All Saints’ Anglican Church, and is overcome by the warm welcome of
the people within the greater community of Drayton Valley.
